Clare Cruickshank, MSc, Patient Expertise in Research Collaboration (PERC)

Clare has been an active volunteer in community agencies for over 20 years and involved in patient engagement for the past 6 years. She is a patient advisor with Patient Expertise in Research Collaboration, the Canadian Cancer Society’s advisory council on research, and mentors PhD students in McGill’s interdisciplinary cancer sciences program. Motivated by her personal experiences, Clare is a lifelong learner and is committed to improving the quality of life of individuals with chronic health conditions. Her formal education background includes a Master of science degree in mental health, and bachelor’s degrees in social work and business administration.
